Self-Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective technique that involves applying gentle but sustained pressure onto the muscular connective tissue to eliminate restrictions and tension in fascia. This helps you to eliminate pain, restore muscle strength and joint flexibility.

Myofascial release is very effective for headaches, migraines, flaccid muscles, trapped or compressed nerves.

An understanding of Self-myofascial release is required prior to attending Postural workshops

Posture for Beginners

Good posture helps to balance your body, diminishes tension in overloaded muscles and prevents injury. Posture reflects the health of the spine. Bring your body back into alignment by learning how this is best achieved.

You will learn many techniques and corrective exercises that will help you on the pathway to full functionality.

Postural workshop is a great start prior to progressing onto functional classes or One-to-One sessions.

Red-light Therapy

Red light therapy also referred to as low-level laser therapy – is the act of using red light for beneficial properties on the body. Red light therapy was and still is used by NASA astronauts for muscle and bone atrophy.
The beneficial properties of red light (in the proper intensity and dose) has a therapeutic and healing effect on body tissue.

It helps treat problems such as:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Joint injuries
  • Excessive swelling
  • Skin health
  • Shorter recovery times from training and injury
  • Increased performance and cellular energy
  • Lower inflammation levels in the body

Red-light therapy may involve using a laser that emits light in the red-light spectrum on an injured part of the body area or using a red-light LED on body areas.

Red light therapy is great, additional help for injured tissue during the recovery phase.
